We had a great program at Jim and Laura's in April. Many thanks to them for hosting us. Because of Memorial Day on May 24 and the Gardens of Octorara 5th Annual Garden Tour (see below), the Gardeners' Club will not meet in May. We'll meet on Saturday, June 28 at 9:30am for a program on rejuvenative pruning for mature shrubs. We'll meet again at a member's home. Members will receive a direct email with directions to the location.
Don't forget the plant swap at Twin Brook Winery on May 10 at 9:00am.
Please buy your tickets to the garden tour early -- I'd really like to sell 25 more tickets than last year.

Free Plant Swap
The Gardens of Octorara committee will hold a free plant swap at Twin Brook Winery on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 9:00am. Be a little early to set out your plants: we'll start promptly at 9:00, and it only takes a few minutes for all the plants to find new, loving homes. All plants are created equally here. Just bring what you no longer need, whether potted, bagged or bare root, and take home a treasure. More info at http://www.gardensofoctorara.com/.
